RIYADH, KSA (April 15, 2025) – ETS, a global education and talent solutions organization announced today that it has opened its regional headquarters (RHQ) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, signaling ETS’s commitment to investing in the Kingdom’s dynamic and promising future and is in direct alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. ETS’s RHQ will be led by Sabry Shehata as General Manager, including oversight of the new test center also in Riyadh.
“Riyadh, as a dynamic and rapidly growing business hub, offers a unique opportunity for ETS to collaborate with educational institutions, Ministries in the Kingdom, as well as industry and corporate leaders to deliver innovative solutions tailored to the region's education and workforce needs,” said Rohit Sharma, Senior Vice President of Global Mobility Solutions at ETS. “Under Sabry’s leadership, I am confident that ETS’s decades of expertise in English language assessment, educational measurement, and workforce readiness will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Kingdom’s long-term goals.”
Shehata joins ETS from IDP Education where he led the organization’s expansion and growth efforts in the Middle East, developing new, long-term education and workforce strategic partnerships. Prior to his role at IDP, Shehata held business and operations leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson and Merck Sharp & Dohme.

The new office and test center are located in the heart of Riyadh, just a short walk from the iconic Kingdom Tower. They are strategically located to offer unmatched convenience and accessibility for all test takers, serving as a cornerstone for driving educational excellence, skill development, and career readiness programs, enabling Saudi professionals and students to thrive in an increasingly competitive global market. ETS Arabia’s test center is designed to accommodate 12 test takers per session, with three sessions each day, operating six days a week. This structure ensures a seamless and efficient test day experience.
